Since 2020, the world has been suffering from the Covid-19, that has made our life miserable and void. People suffered, economy declined, deaths occurred but now slow and steady the world is recovering. But what will happen in the future? Will everything become normal again? The answer is debatable. Though people are positive, yet the World Health Organisation (WHO) is waving a red flag. According to WHO, though people are hoping that this Covid situation has come to an end, it is not actually happening. The disease forecasters strongly believe that there is about 27% chance of the occurrence of another Covid-like pandemic within the next ten years!! Well this prediction has created a bit of panic among the experts. Scientists are pointing fingers at the climate change, international tours and travels and growth of global population as the cause of the increased likelihood of another pandemic. Due to these factors new strains of viruses are forming rapidly, thereby posing threats to mankind. Different zoonotic diseases (Diseases which can transmit from animals to humans) can also occur and can kill many. But WHO also is providing us good news. Scientists say, awareness, precautions and vaccination drives could bring a ray of hope into this scenario and actually make the situation better.
