Tourism in India is versatile. Different states have their specialities that will never fail to attract tourists worldwide.India is aiming to introduce its first submarine tourism that will be breathtaking. Marking a milestone in Indian tourism, the Gujarat government, in collaboration with Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL), is going to take the country’s first submarine tourism initiative. The focus of this project is todelve into the marine life surrounding Dwarka. This project draws parallels to the Titanic submersible expedition, infamous for a recent vessel implosion in the Atlantic Ocean. It is expected to become operational before Diwali 2024.
As soon as this project will become graspable to the tourists, they would get immense opportunity to look into 100 m below the sea in a submarine, and gain an exquisite experience of the marine life surrounding the island, which is also believed to have a submerged city created by Lord Krishna.
According to the reports the submarinethat will take tourists underwater, will weigh around 35 tonnes, and will be able to carry approx30 passengers at a time. In the submarine, tourists not only willget a breathtaking view of the marine life but also will enjoy the fabulous journey.
This submarine will be crafted with two rows, with seating capacity of 24 passengers and the vessel will be piloted by two experienced pilots and a professional crew. The perfect sitting arrangements will make everyone enjoy the best of underwater views. It is hoped that this spectacular project will make spacefor more employment, investment, and tourism that will pave way for overall development.
